Summer School 2023

Middle School students who fail two of their core subject courses must complete one of the remediation courses over the summer for one of the failed courses of their choosing.  Students who failed three of their core classes must remediate two of the courses.  They may choose whichever two to remediate; however, math and language arts are to take priority.  Unfortunately, students who have failed all four core classes will be retained and are ineligible to remediate.  Please refer to the following list if your student failed two or more courses.  If they do not repeat the failed course(s) over the summer, they will be retained and will repeat the grade again next year.

EDGENUITY 

• Registration - Application completed and fee paid through My Payments Plus
• Independent course format without access to a teacher
• $100 fee per course 
• Registration due date: June 16, 2023
• Student will be enrolled upon receipt of summer school application and fee and must complete course by August 11, 2023
• Offered in core academic subjects only (English, Social Studies, Science, Math)
• Upon registration, an email with information about accessing Edgenuity will be sent

EDUCERE VIRTUAL SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM

  - Registration Due Date: July 10, 2023
  - Start Date: Approximately 7 days after receipt of registration and payment.
  - End Date: Courses must be completed within 60 days of the student's start date, but no later than August 11, 2023. Half and quarter year abbreviated courses must be completed within 30 days of the student's start date, but no later than August 11, 2023.
